Composed score for the theatre production Under My Tongue

Originally presented by Next Wave and Belinda Locke at Brunswick Mechanics Institute in 2023

CONTENT WARNING: This score explored non-linear cycles of lived experience of trauma, medicalization, disability, mental and physical illness, and the human connections within and around these cycles. At times contains aural simulations of emotional distress and mental disorientation, as well as music composed using recordings of medical and emergency settings, which may be triggering for some listeners. Or, it may feel strangely comforting and familiar! Please be mindful if listening on headphones, that bass frequencies may reach higher than expected decibel levels, as this score was designed to create a physically felt experience for d/Deaf audiences.
